SLU-PP-915 Capsules

SLU-PP-915 is a small-molecule pan-agonist of the estrogen-related receptors (ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ), developed at Saint Louis University as a chemically distinct follow-up to SLU-PP-332. Unlike SLU-PP-332, it was designed to be orally active, which makes it suited to oral-dosing study designs.

In a 2026 preclinical mouse study (Billon et al., Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics), SLU-PP-915 increased running distance and duration in aerobic exercise tests after both injected and oral dosing, comparable to SLU-PP-332 once exposure was matched. It raised expression of mitochondrial genes and of Ddit4 in skeletal muscle, and its effect was additive with exercise training. SLU-PP-915 is at the preclinical stage of research.
