Description:
Oxytocin is a cyclic nonapeptide hormone involved in contractile, bonding, and neuromodulatory pathways. In research settings, oxytocin has been used to explore social cognition, stress responses, hypothalamic signaling, and neuroendocrine regulation. Experimental  administration has been valuable for studying peptide transport across the olfactory epithelium and its influence on CNS-related behavioral and physiological endpoints.
