Description:
ARA-290 is a synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the helix-B region of erythropoietin (EPO), engineered to retain EPO’s tissue-protective and anti-inflammatory signaling activity while omitting its erythropoietic (red blood cell-stimulating) effects. It is studied as an agonist of the innate repair receptor (a heteromer of the EPO receptor and CD131/beta-common receptor).
